FRANCES L. LUTES

Frances L. Lutes, 80, of Millbury, passed away Friday, July 16, 2010 at her home. She was born in Kingsport, TN to Gladys L. (Taylor) and Lonzo McElrath.
Frances married Charles H. Lutes on December 18, 1971 in Gibsonburg, Ohio and worked as a waitress for Union 76 Truckstop, Exit 5 for seventeen years.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Charles; daughter, Vickie Bennett of Walbridge; son, Mark (Kathy) Smith of Gun Barrel City, TX; ten grandchildren, three of which she lovingly raised, Matthew Weott, Steven “Danny” Smith, and Terra Lanning whom she adopted; along with several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepdad, Ed Taylor; and children, Leatha Weott, Debra Olson and Vernon Smith.
Friends will be received from 2-9 P.M. on Monday in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 701 N. Main Street, Walbridge (419-666-3121) where funeral services will begin at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 with Pastor Tom Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made in Frances’ memory to the Susan B. Komen Foundation.
